Angel Takooree - Co-Founder & Chief Ideas Officer - She’s the Dash
Just as her name suggests, Angel is all about bright ideas and bringing energy and creative flair to our crew. She has a background in Product Development, Project Management, User Experience, User Research, and Service Design, and favours analogue methods for digital problems, creating fun and engaging workshops for remarkable results.
Her career has zig-zagged across various fields, confirming her belief in the importance of learning and sharing knowledge for innovation. Before co-founding this venture, Angel led the development of innovative food products for major brands. With over 20 years as a consultant and a pivot to the digital sector, her vast experience in manufacturing, health, education, mobile gaming, betting, and design fuels her innovative ideas.
Angel is central to Dot + Dash, inspiring us to dream big and motivating our team to aim high. Her vision is to make a difference by connecting and inspiring people through co-design.
She is passionate about learning and holds certifications as an AI Design Sprint™ Facilitator, along with being a LEGO® Serious Play® method and materials facilitator, Scrum Master, and Design Sprint Facilitator. Additionally, she plays leadership and director roles in volunteer organisations.
Lee Wright - Co-Founder & Chief Techy Officer - He’s the Dot
Lee enjoys doting the I’s and crossing the T’s, so the ‘Dot’ is well-earned.
He has over 20 years’ experience as a leader in the tech industry and brings a wealth of knowledge and skills.
During this time he has led engineering teams working on enterprise-level systems, spanning industries such as Healthcare, Manufacturing, Education and e-commerce. An expert in cloud, cloud-migrations, SaaS applications and a wide variety of technologies, as well as building & leading teams, coaching & mentoring.
Lee has a passion for working with clients to develop systems that deliver real-world value, efficiency savings, and defining realistic strategies.
As the pragmatic force of our company, Lee ensures our visionary goals have a clear path to realisation. He oversees the day-to-day operations, making sure projects stay on track and the team remains aligned with our core mission. Lee believes in the power of efficiency, structure, and detailed planning to bring our innovative solutions to life.
